When visiting Amsterdam, try to visit the western church one of the mornings, every morning they have a tour to the top of the chrch while climbing narrow laders viewing many amazing, huge bells. The tour is a guided tour of an hour or so and it is really nice, in addition the view from the top is an extra bonus.

The Anne Frank house, located at 263 Prinsengracht (although the entrance is at number 267), is a really interesting monument. The house is the place where Anne’s father, Otto’s,  businesses was and where they were hiding from the Nazi regime for  25 months (July 6, 1942 -September 3, 1944). It is very interesting to see the rooms and the hiding places where they have actually been.

Directions: Trams 13 and 17 from Central Station, get off at Westermarkt station.

I agree, this is probably not the most cultural museum but it is defiantly one of the most fun ones, it used to be so much more fun but few years ago they have changed it (you used to be able to drink as much as you can, now i think you get like 3 pints or so) but the atmosphere is great and you will meet some fun crazy people there. So if you are already there – this is worth the visit.
