Sampo Ice Breaker In Lapland – Travel Tip #2
Author: adminI know this is a really expensive experience, but this is so worth it, it is really something you wont get the chance to experience much and it is really amazing. You go on a 4 hours tour which includes lunch (not that great, actually kind of bad but this wasn’t the purpose anyway), then you break the icy water and get into the frozen sea (with some special clothing so it is not cold obviously)
The ice breaker leaves from the city of Kemi (which is an hour and a half train ride from Rovaniemi, Finland) and while there make sure you also visit the snow castle – its really awesome.
