Horseshoe Bend, Arizona – Travel Tip #24
Author: adminOn highway #89, you will see an unpaved dirt road right next to a small brown sign – so basically this is a really easy location to miss, but try not to . Once driving this road you will get to a parking area and you will have to walk for about a mile or so to get to the viewpoint you will then see the Colorado river taking a sharp U turn right below where you are standing. When I was there the sun was not in the greatest angle for photo taking (see below) but still, it was amazing.
