At Yoho national park, located only about 30 minutes drive from lake Louis e you can find a peaceful, small lake, all green water – Emerald lake.

This is truly one of the more peaceful spots on the Canadian Rockies and i love it, although it is not one of the main, big, well known attractions.

These are some really amazing, high falls which are located in the Yoho National park (right along side between Banff and Jasper). The falls are huge, you will see them from a distance even from the parking area which is probably a good spot to start taking some pictures  – you wont be able, when closer to fit it to the frame.

Johnston Canyon, which is about 25 KM from Banff, is a really nice place to walk, the hike is very easy and takes about one hour so anyone can do it.  After about one Km you will  see the lower falls and another 1.5 Km will take you to the  upper falls and a weeping wall as well.
