Just an hour drive from Atlanta is Tallulah gorge and waterfalls. The gorge and the falls are really nice, there are several viewpoints along the way which offers some great views, these are located near the visitor’s center and from there you can also take the stairs down to see the falls from a closer look. During some weekends a year the dam is wide open and then its probably even more beautiful since the water are more powerful.
