This is an amazing lake and it is really worth some of the disadvantages of this boat ride (for example the boat ride is not cheap, the explanations on board are in German only and they collect tips during the ride which is a bit annoying I must say) – but the great view you see is worth it. This is a crystal blue lake with some cliffs and mountains around it. At the end of the tour you get to an island on which you can walk around and get into the small church.

Konigsee- Germany

This is truly one of the most amazing ways to experience the falls from close. this a boat tour take you as close as possible to the falls – you will get wet for sure  but they give you a coat. It is really touristic and can be crowded sometimes but still it is a really nice way to observe the falls.

Niagra Falls

This is a well known lake so there are always many tourists there, but this is not harming the peaceful atmosphere of this lake and the small town around it. The lake itself is a small round lake, you should defiantly walk around it to view it from all angels (there are some great views when you see the little island in the middle of the lake with all the mountains around it).  There is also the Bled castle you can visit which is located just above the lake, and the island itself.

Bled Lake - Slovenia

This park is really small but really beautiful, it is located eastern from the Oregon coast line so if you drive on the 101 or the 5 you need to exit at Roseburg and drive on the 138 and you will see the signs from there. the park itself is a little lake created inside a volcanic basin. The water are so blue and clear and the cliffs around it makes it really amazing.

When visiting Plitvice Lakes make sure you have at least 5-6 hours for this park since it has many trails to walk on and many waterfalls to visit, some are small and some are really big. The full entrance ticket which costs about 10 Euros and include the bus to the entrance (or back to the parking) and the boat rides inside the park.

It is best to take the bus ride to the highest entrance since then you will walk downhill most of the time instead of uphill, also the smaller falls are at the top and when you get to the lower lakes you will see bigger falls, after you take the boat ride to the other side, take the trail to the big waterfall. Keep in mind the the way back from the big waterfall to the entrance (where you take the bus back to the parking) is a walk uphill so save some energy for that.
