The Blue lagoon is a really nice place for some relaxation, and the fact it is close to the Reykjavik airport makes it a good idea to have a short break there before your flight. There is nothing more there other than geothermal heated pools, but it is a nice thing to do especially when it is a bit cold around you.

This is not a must, you can find stuff like that probably everywhere but it is really nice and since it is so close to the airport…why not.

This is defiantly one of the most interesting church I have ever seen (especially from an architecture point of view), the church looks really different than anything I have seen before. The best part is to take the elevator to the roof  of it and get a great view of Rekjavik.

Watch out  – The bells, which are located on the same roof you are getting the wonderful view from,  will begin ringing like crazy at the beginning of an hour  – really loud.

Address: Skólavörðuholti – Pósthólf 651 – 121 Reykjavík

This park is really nice and located not too far from the city of Reykjavik. This park is part of the golden circle tour rout.  This park is a lot of fun just to walk around since it is beautiful – lots of water, ponds and all around it – huge rocks.
this site is an historical site and its very interesting.

This is definitely one of the best waterfalls I have seen, it is nothing like any other one.  these are 2 giant  falls falling together and it is amazing, you can just walk to the edge and see it from a real close distance. Noticed that it is very cold there, even at August.
