Reindeer Festival in Inari, Lapland – Travel Tip #46
Author: adminDuring the beginning of April , there is a reindeer festival going on in the small village of Inari, which is at the north of Finish Lapland (about 5 hours drive from Roveniemi). Everyone gathering their herds and there are all kind of stuff going on like reindeer races and a really unique atmosphere in general.
I wouldn’t make all the way just to attend this festival but if you are close to the town during these dates it is worth the visit.
